FAQs
How old does my puppy need to be?
Puppy School is open to puppies 8-16 weeks old at their start date.
Where does Jack and Jill Puppy School take place?
Jack and Jill Puppy School is held at the Wiggle Waggle Barkery at 22673 Northline Road, Taylor, Michigan.
Does my puppy need to be fully vaccinated?
We require at least one round of vaccinations including DHLPP. The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior recommends that you do not wait for your puppy to be fully vaccinated before you start socializing them. Your 8-16 week old puppy is at a critical point in their development and you do not want to waste that precious time! We take extra precautions to clean before and after classes, and sick puppies are not allowed to attend class in order to keep all our students safe and healthy.
When is Jack and Jill Puppy School?
Jack and Jill Puppy School takes place on Mondays at 6:00pm. We operate with an open enrollment model, meaning that your puppy can start their 6-week course as soon as they come home! No need to wait for the next round of classes to start - you can start right away.
What's the best age to socialize a puppy?
It's recommended that you start socializing your puppy as early as possible. It's no longer recommended that you wait to socialize your puppy until they are fully vaccinated. Your 8-16 week old puppy is at a critical point in their development, and waiting until they've received all of their vaccinations would cause you to miss out on valuable learning opportunities. Get them in puppy class as soon as possible!
